Donation benefits eight philanthropic institutions in Argentina
“This donation is a gift to the soul because, when one loses their voice, it feels as if the soul falls silent; and when the soul falls silent, everything becomes darker. Therefore, thank you for bringing light to those of us who need hope.”
The message from Esteban Bullrich, founder of the Argentine institution that bears his name and assists individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, summarizes the meaning of the afternoon of March 28 at the PRÓ-VIDA Club in Baradero, Argentina. On that occasion, the Central del Diezmo PRÓ-VIDA de Argentina (Center for the Tithe PRÓ-VIDA of Argentina) formalized donations to eight philanthropic institutions from the provinces of Buenos Aires and Catamarca.
More than meeting the institutions’ needs, with the objective of improving their conditions and service capacity, the initiative aims to show the path toward building a more just and supportive world: lending a hand to those who need it most.

Action of Solidarity
To leave a mark with this example, actions like this one have been carried out in various countries since 1979 by the Centers for the Tithe PRÓ-VIDA founded by participants of the Movement, inspired by the gesture of Dr. Celso Charuri, conceiver and founder of PRÓ-VIDA and of the Central Geral do Dízimo – PRÓ-VIDA (General Center for the Tithe – PRÓ-VIDA).
The Centers for the Tithe PRÓ-VIDA operate independently in their locations while maintaining unity to the purpose. “Seeing this community, this communion, this support, has changed our day,” said the executive director of Hospital Isidoro Iriarte, Jose Manuel Pepe.
There have already been approximately 14,000 donations made, in addition to the construction and donation of 16 vocational schools, which aim to contribute to the education and social inclusion of young people.
“When your needs and your commitment to growing your projects meet our desire to help, it creates the very moments we are experiencing now: special spaces where we believe anything can happen, and that the Earth can change,” said the representative of Central del Diezmo PRÓ-VIDA de Argentina , Marcelo Landorfo.

Mind development
The willingness to help others and contribute to improving the world is natural in people with a more expanded level of consciousness, who realize they are part of a whole and, therefore, that their actions impact the environment. From this perspective, it can be said that consistent changes toward a better world result from the transformation of people, as taught by Dr. Celso Charuri.
For this reason, Dr. Celso Charuri proposes something simple: to improve ourselves. “If we can be better parents, better people, better children, better siblings, better friends, we gradually transform society, one by one,” Marcelo explained.
As a path for this process, Dr. Celso Charuri organized a program of mind training and development that leads participants to self-knowledge, to exploring and expanding their potential, and to making more conscious decisions.
“This proposition seemed appealing to us (…) and we allowed the light of his knowledge to enter our home. We began to see things we had not seen before (…) and he said: the day you become a lily, the Earth will cease to be a battlefield and will become a field of lilies,” Marcelo said.
