The Tree That Grows Within Each of Us
The Tree That Grows Within Each of Us
Still as seeds, trees begin their journey by drawing water and nutrients from the soil for their own sustenance. Under favorable conditions, as they develop, they expand their roots and anchor themselves, as if recognizing in that soil what is essential for their growth. On the surface, they reveal their stem and first leaves. They realize—whether below or above that patch of soil—that they are not alone; around them are other trees, also in development.
Sensing the similarity of the process they are experiencing, they communicate through their roots, exchanging nutrients and signals. And when the so-called “true” leaves emerge, they begin photosynthesis: the transmutation of energies that allows them to grow.
It is within this environment—built through work, sharing, and cooperation—that each tree reaches its size: some more leafy, others slenderer, but all rising toward the skies.
Along this path, they begin to offer cool shade, fruit, and even shelter to other living beings that, nourished and protected, find a place to settle and grow. Until one day, they too contribute to other forms of life in their own way. A harmonious and just cycle that repeats itself among flora, fauna, and, why not, human beings as well.
Each one that is nourished, welcomed, and encouraged to grow learns to nourish, welcome, and support growth—or at least has the opportunity to learn.
By analogy, we participants of PRÓ-VIDA may consider ourselves as seeds planted in Earth where, here in the Movement, we find the foundation needed for our growth and, in the knowledge left by great minds, the nourishment that feeds and drives our mental and spiritual development toward something greater: a Much Better World.
Like the trees, on this path we find others next to us whom we call friends. Together we unite, share processes, and work in cooperation. The more we are together and action the knowledge, the more we expand our consciousness—and, naturally, we feel the desire to offer part of ourselves to carry forward the teachings that brought us this far and that we know will lead to happiness.
And how do we action this desire? Also through the activities and work fronts of our Movement across the globe, in in-person, remote in-center, or online formats. It is about combining possibilities to create opportunities.
And it could not be any different. After all, this is something that goes beyond the three-dimensional or technological form. In fact, we use these tools to meet the needs that come up. It is about offering opportunities so that people may feel the new dimension created by Dr. Celso’s philosophy.
A knowledge that may be the nourishment that will make seeds germinate—and, if they so allow, transform them into mature trees, able to produce beautiful flowers, good fruit, and, who knows, give rise to other seeds, contributing to the continuity of the cycle of life. All the way to the skies!
